Job Title: Senior Accountant – Steel Fabrication & Coating Industry

Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced accountant with strong exposure to manufacturing / fabrication environments. The role will be responsible for managing complete accounting operations, including trial balance, balance sheet, P&L reporting, and ensuring financial accuracy across project-based and production activities.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Manufacturing Accounting
- Prepare and finalize Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, and Profit & Loss (P&L) statements
- Maintain and review General Ledger (GL) and ensure accurate postings
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities
- Conduct variance analysis on production costs, overheads, and project margins
- Track cost of production, including raw materials, labor, and subcontracting
Project & Cost Accounting
- Monitor project-wise costing for fabrication, blasting, and coating jobs
- Analyze job profitability and cost variances
- Coordinate with operations for material consumption and wastage control
- Maintain records for WIP (Work in Progress) and finished goods
Reconciliation & Financial Controls
- Prepare bank reconciliation statements and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
- Reconcile sub-ledgers with general ledger
- Maintain strict financial controls and ensure compliance with company policies
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) – vendor invoices, supplier payments, and aging
- Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) – customer invoicing, collections, and follow-ups
- Monitor receivable aging, especially for project-based billing cycles
Audit & Compliance
- Support internal and external audits and ensure proper documentation
- Ensure compliance with KSA VAT regulations, ZATCA requirements, and IFRS
- Maintain audit-ready financial records and schedules
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
