Accountant

ob Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage the company’s financial records, ensure compliance with UAE regulations, and support day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in financial accuracy, reporting, and cost control, contributing to the company’s overall financial health.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions (AP, AR, GL)
  • Record daily entries, invoices, receipts, and payments
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing for all financial activities

Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Manage vendor payments and ensure timely processing
  • Track incoming payments and follow up on outstanding receivables
  • Reconcile supplier and customer accounts regularly

Bank & Cash Management

  • Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis
  • Monitor cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity
  • Handle petty cash and expense tracking

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Assist in preparation of profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
  • Provide insights on financial performance and cost optimization

Compliance & Taxation (UAE)

  • Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations
  • Prepare and file VAT returns accurately and on time
  • Maintain records for audits and regulatory requirements

Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Assist in budget preparation and monitoring
  • Track expenses against budget and highlight variances
  • Support management in cost-saving initiatives

Audit Support

  • Coordinate with internal/external auditors
  • Ensure all financial records are audit-ready

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2–5 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of VAT and UAE financial regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho, Tally, or similar)
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • High attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, CMA) are a plus
  • Experience in holiday homes, real estate, or hospitality sector
  • Ability to handle multi-entity accounting
