Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Ensure compliance with Bahrain financial regulations and VAT requirements
• Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting
• Coordinate with auditors and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience (preferably in Bahrain/GCC)
• Strong knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks)
• Familiarity with VAT regulations in Bahrain
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is an advantage
• Experience in construction, engineering, or water treatment industry is a plus
