Looking for part time Accountant weekly 8-9 hrs work

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Zoho Books and a strong foundation in accounting principles. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Zoho Books, including invoicing, bill payments, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and follow-up
• Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations on a regular basis
• Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and support VAT return filings
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and internal controls
• Liaise with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding financial matters

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE
• Proficiency in Zoho Books is required — experience managing the full accounting cycle within the platform
• Solid understanding of accounting standards (IFRS) and UAE VAT regulations
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional certification
• Experience with other Zoho Finance apps (Zoho Expense, Zoho Payroll, Zoho Inventory)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED1,500.00 per month

Expected hours: 9 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Al Karama
