Accounting Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Clerk to support our finance team. This role involves handling daily accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with billing, data entry, and reconciliation. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Enter and maintain accurate financial data in accounting systems
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Assist with invoicing, billing, and collections
• Maintain organized records of financial transactions
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Communicate with vendors and clients regarding payments
• Assist with reporting and administrative accounting tasks

Qualifications

• Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or clerical experience preferred
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
• Experience with QuickBooks
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
