Accounting Manager

We are seeking to add an Accounting Manager to the team. We owns and operate 25 manufactured housing communities, largely in Texas and Montana. We're a young company and is growing quickly, which means the opportunity for career growth is unmatched. The ideal candidate is nimble, responsible, and a self-starter.

We offer unlimited PTO, pays 70% of the employee's health insurance premium, and offers a 3% 401k match after completing 3 months of service. Salary is negotiable for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• With the assistance of the senior accountant and an offshore team, prepare all property-level (25) and corporate financial statements monthly.
• Disseminate financial reports to equity partners and lenders on a quarterly basis.
• Send quarterly distributions to JV partners, ensuring adequate reserves are held.
• Manage Agora platform for existing deal tracking and new deal equity raising.
• Review income tax returns and associated K-1s prepared by a third-party firm. Assist with documentation requests.
• Assist with financial statement audits, including financial statement and footnote preparation.
• Monitor all banking activity. Oversee Accounts Payable for properties and ensure outstanding invoices are paid timely. Set up vendors and prepare 1099s.
• For acquisitions - oversee entity creation, open operating account, implement Rent Manager, ZeGo, and AvidXchange, assist with due diligence and closing process.
• Prepare annual budgets and compare budgets to actuals quarterly. Monitor expenditures and inform management of overages.
• Other related tasks as needed.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
