About the Role

Grand City is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Manager to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and support the company’s strategic growth. This role requires strong financial acumen, leadership skills, and hands-on experience in managing accounts and finance functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare, review, and present financial statements, reports, and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Monitor cash flow, payroll, and banking activities.
  • Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits.
  • Support the CFO in financial planning, analysis, and forecasting.
  • Implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
  • Lead and mentor the accounts team to achieve departmental objectives.

Qualifications

  • Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certification (ACCA, CA, CMA, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, ERP/finance software, and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
