The Account Manager – Projects will serve as the primary liaison between the client and the organization, ensuring successful project delivery, client satisfaction, and account growth. The role demands a balance of relationship management, project oversight, and commercial acumen, with accountability for meeting client needs while maintaining organizational profitability and efficiency

Qualification Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, IT or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10 -15 years of experience in Account Management (IT Projects), Client Engagement or Project Management (IT government projects).
- Proven track record of managing large accounts/projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and practices.
- Experience in handling contracts, SLAs, and financial tracking for projects.
Client Relationship Management
- Act as the single point of contact for assigned client accounts.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
- Understand client business objectives, challenges, and future requirements.
- Ensure timely communication of project progress, risks, and issues.
Project Oversight & Delivery Support
- Oversee project execution in collaboration with Project Managers and internal teams.
- Ensure adherence to agreed project scope, timelines, and quality standards.
- Support requirement gathering, clarifications, and approvals from the client side.
- Monitor and track project health through regular reviews and reports.
Commercial & Contractual Management
- Ensure compliance with client contracts, SLAs, and deliverables.
- Track financial aspects of the account – billing, invoicing, and collections.
- Identify and facilitate opportunities for change requests, upselling, and cross-selling.
Risk & Issue Management
- Serve as the escalation point for client concerns.
- Proactively identify risks that may impact delivery or client satisfaction.
- Drive resolution of issues by coordinating with internal and client teams.
Strategic Account Growth
- Identify opportunities for account expansion and new project engagements.
- Collaborate with Business Development teams for proposal preparation and presentations.
- Contribute to account planning, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.
Internal Coordination & Reporting
- Act as the client’s representative within the organization, ensuring delivery alignment.
- Share client feedback with delivery and leadership teams for continuous improvement.
- Provide regular status updates, reports, and dashboards to management.
