Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist

We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced, results-driven Bilingual (Spanish/English) Accounts & Collections Manager to oversee and manage all customer accounts, ensuring timely payments and resolving account issues with professionalism and strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all customer accounts from start to finish, ensuring accurate records and timely payment processing.
• Strategically collect on delinquent accounts.
• Maintain professional yet firm communication with customers to resolve payment issues while preserving relationships.
• Problem-solve complex customer situations, including disputes, payment arrangements, and hardship cases.
• Analyze accounts and identify patterns or trends in late payments to proactively address potential issues.
• Work closely with dealership management to implement collection strategies and achieve monthly performance goals.
• Maintain compliance with all legal and ethical standards related to collections and account management.

Requirements:

• Bilingual (English & Spanish) – REQUIRED
• Proven experience in finance, banking, cash advance, or related industries involving credit, lending, or collections.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills — able to impact customer decisions and secure commitments.
• High emotional intelligence and people skills — able to read situations, adapt communication style, and build trust quickly.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and resourcefulness in high-pressure situations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with computers, CRM systems, and basic financial/accounting software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in collections, banking, and/or finance.
• Experience creating and implementing strategic collection plans.
