Our platform brings intelligence and efficiency to the core workflows involved in venture rounds — finding the right investors, mapping relationship intelligence to land introductions, and getting context-rich guidance on key questions around round strategy and collateral.
About the Role
As part of our sales organization, the Acquisition Specialist (AS) role focuses on developing subject matter expertise to run demo and qualification calls and to educate prospective customers on the role that Metal can play in their fundraising journey. Successful candidates will demonstrate an ability to engage in a consultative sales process, focused on winning the trust of prospective partners.
The role will work closely with our product and engineering teams to ensure that feedback from the market flows quickly to inform our product roadmap and direction. Potential growth paths include team leadership and transitioning into strategic partnerships.
What You’ll Do
Run demo and qualification calls with inbound and outbound prospects.
Deeply understand customer needs, handle objections, and deliver compelling demos of the product.
Advance qualified, high-fit leads into onboarding while maintaining strong conversion rates.
Collaborate closely with Customer Success teams to ensure smooth handoff and onboarding readiness.
Provide structured feedback to improve sales playbooks, demo scripts, and qualification guardrails.
Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and iteration across the sales team.
What We’re Looking For
Non-Negotiable Qualities
Comms Fluency: Native-level spoken English; comfortable communicating with a North American audience.
Critical Thinking / IQ: High confidence and problem-solving skills, able to respond to tough questions on the fly.
Drive / Internal Motivation: Persistent, resilient, and motivated to succeed in a client-facing sales role.
Culture Fit: Ambition, humility, and learning capacity — the core traits we value at Metal.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in sales or client-facing roles (SaaS/tech preferred).
Demonstrated ability to own outcomes and work to measurable goals.
Availability to work 10PM to 3AM PKT at least four nights per week.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-standard environment with minimal oversight.
