Acute Kidney Disease Technician

Position
We seek an AKD (Acute Kidney Disease) Technician who will be responsible for assisting in dialysis procedures, operating dialysis equipment, and ensuring safe and effective patient care in accordance with hospital protocols and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare dialysis machines and related equipment before procedures
• Assist nephrologists and nursing staff during dialysis sessions
• Monitor patients’ vital signs during dialysis and report abnormalities immediately
• Ensure proper handling, disinfection, and maintenance of dialysis machines and accessories
• Maintain accurate patient records, treatment logs, and machine parameters
• Follow infection control, safety, and quality protocols strictly
• Assist in emergency situations related to dialysis procedures
• Ensure proper disposal of biomedical waste as per hospital policy
• Coordinate with nursing staff, doctors, and support teams for smooth operations
• Perform routine checks and basic troubleshooting of dialysis equipment

Qualifications

• B.Sc. with certified training or hands-on experience in Dialysis / AKD
• 0–2 years of experience as a Dialysis / AKD Technician
• Freshers with relevant certification may also be considered
