Admin Officer (SITE - Karachi)

Job Purpose

The Admin Officer will manage day-to-day administrative and support functions to ensure smooth operations of the factory. This includes overseeing office administration, procurement of supplies, record keeping, HR documentation, and coordination between departments. The role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. General Administration

  • Oversee repair and maintenance of office equipment, utilities, and factory facilities.
  • Safe and effective work environment with focus on security and safety
  • Utilities managed and documented

2. Procurement & Inventory Support

  • Coordinate purchase of raw materials, tools, safety gear, and consumables as needed.
  • Compare quotations, prepare purchase orders, and follow up with suppliers.
  • Keep records of all purchases and ensure timely payments.

3. Liaison & Coordination

  • Support communication between factory floor, accounts, and management.
  • Handle small cash expenses and submit expense reports for approval.
  • Supporting production at all times with labor , management of space utilities GMP and security

4. Compliance & Safety Support

  • Assist in maintaining basic compliance documents (social security, health & safety checklists).
  • Help in coordinating safety drills, signage, and PPE distribution.

5. Building Maintenance and construction

  • Building construction and additions with records
  • Knowledge of a factory environment

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred (Administration, Commerce, or related field).
  • Experience: 2–4 years in admin roles, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Skills:
  • Strong organizational and multitasking ability.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and basic record keeping.
  • Good verbal and written communication in English and Urdu.
  • Negotiation skills for dealing with vendors.
  • Time Management skills
  • Interpersonal skills is a must

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a factory environment.
  • Familiarity with basic safety protocols.

Working Conditions:

  • 6-day work week.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs55,000.00 per month
