Admin Officer (with Basic IT & Finance Support Experience)

About the Role:

We are looking for a reliable, tech-savvy, and highly organized Admin Officer to support the daily operations of our office. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable managing general administrative duties, has hands-on experience with basic IT troubleshooting, and can work with finance tools like Google Sheets.

You’ll play a key part in keeping our team organized and productive by ensuring systems run smoothly, reports are up to date, and tech setup is handled quickly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Tasks

  • Manage general office duties such as filing, documentation, scheduling, and inventory control.
  • Coordinate internal meetings and assist with team logistics.
  • Maintain digital and physical records in an organized manner.

Basic IT Support

  • Set up Microsoft Outlook accounts for new staff and troubleshoot email issues.
  • Install or reinstall Windows operating systems on laptops and desktops.
  • Provide basic IT support for office devices (printers, Wi-Fi, etc.) and software issues.
  • Coordinate with external IT vendors for advanced support as needed.

Finance & Software Support

  • Assist the finance team with invoice tracking, petty cash records, and report entry.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets using Google Sheets for financial and operational tracking.
  • Support the team in using internal software (CRM, accounting, or HR systems) by entering and updating data.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or office support role.
  • Working knowledge of:
  • Microsoft Outlook & Office tools
  • Windows OS installation and setup
  • Google Sheets & Google Workspace
  • Basic understanding of financial processes (invoicing, petty cash, reporting).
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate new software tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
  • A proactive and service-oriented mindset.

Preferred but Not Required:

  • Experience with tools like QuickBooks, Zoho, or other ERP/CRM platforms.
  • Background in IT support or office systems.
  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
