Administrative Support and Security Coordinator

Amentum is hiring an Administrative Support and Security Coordinator in Spokane, WA. This position calls for an individual that thrives in both an individual and team environment. In this role, you will utilize your skills in monitoring and disseminating incoming mail and supplies. Additionally, you will ensure only authorized personnel enter the site.

Responsibilities:

• Serves as the controlled facility receptionist.
• Answers and directs incoming phone calls.
• Verifies all incoming personnel onto a controlled facility at the front gate entrance point: this may include advising, sponsoring, being the point of contact for a visitor’s arrival, completing required visitor paperwork, and directing or escorting the visitor to the correct location.
• Escorts individuals as required in and around designated facilities.
• Assists with administrative duties associated with the mission support function.
• Maintains a basic understanding of standardized DoD, Air Force, and organizational security regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Maintains a general knowledge of the management of classified documents and supporting personnel and physical security requirements.
• Receives and conducts mail distribution, collects mail at mailbox, performs mail runs as needed.
• Prepares and ships UPS, USPS, FedEx, & FedEx Express as needed.
• Receives all inbound shipments for the controlled facility.
• Assists with GSA vehicle control functions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret US Government Clearance.
• High School Diploma.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in daily administrative and security duties.
• Experience performing basic and routine tasks in support of a professional, technical, or specialized occupation.

Service Contract Act (SCA) Compensation & Benefits:

This is an hourly, overtime-eligible position that falls under the Service Contract Act (SCA). In accordance with the Health and Welfare provisions of the SCA, and in addition to your base hourly rate, you may be eligible to receive an additional health and welfare payment for each hour you work to ensure compliance with the minimums set forth by the act. The amount you are entitled to receive will vary depending upon the fringe benefits you select now and in the future.

Compensation & Benefits:

HIRING HOURLY RATE: $33.00 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. Benefits to include:

• 401k.
• Paid time off (PTO) accrued weekly at 2.31 hours per week. Accruals are based on years of service.
• 11 Paid holidays.
