This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate documentation, coordinating welfare-related activities, and supporting internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of ALEC’s WW standards and commitments.

About Your Team

You will report to the Group HSE Director , Group WW Manager , and Assistant WW Manager , while working closely with project teams, subcontractors, and support departments. The team operates with ALEC’s core values in mind—Courage, Integrity, Innovation, Reliability, and Value our People—and your role will help translate these values into action on the ground.


Your Role

As Workforce Welfare Administrator , you will:

  • Understand and demonstrate the 5 ALEC Values – Courage , Integrity , Innovation , Reliability , and Value our People .
  • Assist the Group HSE Director, the Group WW Manager, and the Assistant WW Manager with fulfilling the WW function, including generating WW reports, creating presentations, keeping records, and other related tasks.
  • Support the WW Department in maintaining Client and Consultant KPIs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date WWMS (Workforce Welfare Management System) on MS Workspace and ALEC Central.
  • Provide administrative support to the Group HSE Director, the Group WW Manager, and the Assistant WW Manager and assist them with basic HR-related requirements as needed.
  • Compile accurate group WW statistics for inclusion in the WW weekly and monthly reports under the direction of the Assistant WW Manager and ensure, where required, they are submitted on time.
  • Assist project WW Administrators with closing of WW Close Out Reports to ensure that the information is accurate at all times.
  • Assist with the onboarding of subcontractors (when required) by following up on their WW documentation submittals and ensuring all records are accurately maintained on the project Workspace.
  • Coordinate with the HSE Support Office Team for the booking of new and renewal 3rd party training.
  • Coordinate staff PPE requisitions with the ALEC Central store.


Requirements

  • Must be very well-versed in MS Office, specifically MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Typing speed and accuracy must be above 40 words per minute with accuracy above 90% (online typing test).
  • Must have good communication skills (English).
  • Must be approachable but assertive.


Other Skills / Abilities

  • Previous experience as a General Administrative or Office Assistant is required.
  • A background/training including basic accounting would be advantageous.


Performance Objectives

  • Accurate & timely record keeping of WW Audit Close Out Reports.
  • Accurate and up-to-date maintenance of WW issue logs.
  • Accurate and timely compilation of the WW monthly report to the Assistant WW Manager.
