Hiring: Ads Video Editor
We’re hiring a remote Ads Editor to produce high-performing short-form video ads for Meta (Facebook & Instagram). We need someone who lives and breathes direct-response creative — hooks, pattern interrupts, UGC-style formats, and fast iteration. You’ll deliver 15–20+ ad variations per week from raw footage. 3+ years of paid ad editing experience required with a portfolio that shows results, not just aesthetics. Premiere Pro/Final Cut + After Effects. 40 hrs/week, remote.

Responsibilities:
Creative Production
- Edit short-form video ads (15–60 sec) for Facebook & Instagram (Feed, Reels, Stories)
- Edit 15–20+ ad variations per week — hook swaps, body edits, CTA changes, format remixes
- Work with raw footage (talking head, testimonials, screen recordings, UGC-style) and turn it into scroll-stopping ads
- Apply motion graphics, text overlays, captions, transitions, and sound design
- Maintain and organize a library of raw assets, templates, and project files
Process & Communication
- Follow creative briefs and naming conventions precisely
- Deliver organized files with correct specs, naming, and formats per platform
- Communicate proactively on capacity, blockers, and timelines
- Participate in weekly creative review meetings
- Document and maintain SOPs for recurring editing workflows
Qualifications:
Must-Have:
- 3+ years editing short-form video (not just organic/social content)
- Proven track record with direct-response advertising — hooks, pattern interrupts, CTAs, and what makes people stop scrolling
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro, plus After Effects or equivalent for motion graphics
- Strong understanding of Meta ad formats — Feed, Stories, Reels — and their specs and best practices
- Experience with high-volume creative production — comfortable producing 15–20+ variations per week
- Portfolio of paid ad work with performance data (CTR, conversions, spend) — not just “pretty” videos
- Clean caption/subtitle styling — readable, on-brand text overlays and captions
- Sound design basics — music selection, audio leveling, SFX for emphasis
- Self-managed — can take a brief and run with minimal hand-holding
Preferred/ Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in the coaching, education, or info-product space
- Familiarity with UGC-style ad formats and “native” creative that blends into social feeds
- Knowledge of A/B testing creative elements (hooks, thumbnails, CTAs)
- Experience with AI tools for video editing efficiency
