Advocate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Corporate Advocate to manage the company’s legal affairs, ensure compliance with laws, and provide legal guidance on corporate matters. The candidate will be responsible for handling contracts, litigation, regulatory issues, and corporate governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice to management on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, MOUs, and legal documents.
• Handle company litigation, disputes, and court cases.
• Represent the company before courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Manage corporate filings, licenses, registrations, and statutory records.
• Handle matters related to labor laws, company law, and commercial law.
• Coordinate with external lawyers, consultants, and legal agencies.
• Conduct legal due diligence and risk assessment.
• Support management in mergers, acquisitions, and business expansions.
• Maintain confidentiality of company information.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of Corporate Law, Contract Law, and Commercial Law.
• Excellent drafting and documentation skills.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Ability to analyze legal risks and provide practical solutions.
• Good research and case management skills.
• High ethical standards and professionalism.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

• LLB / LLM from a recognized university.
• Enrolled with the Bar Council of India (mandatory).
• Minimum [X] years of experience in corporate/legal practice.
• Experience in handling corporate cases and documentation.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in corporate firms, law firms, or in-house legal departments.
• Knowledge of compliance, intellectual property, and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in drafting commercial agreements and handling disputes.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Expected hours: No more than 25 per week
