We are seeking an energetic and compassionate After School Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children after school hours. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally while participating in a variety of enriching activities. Responsibilities

• Supervise children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Organize and lead engaging activities such as arts and crafts, sports, theater, or tutoring sessions that promote childhood development
• Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management techniques and positive reinforcement
• Collaborate with parents, staff, and other caregivers to support each child's individual needs and progress
• Implement classroom management strategies to maintain a structured and nurturing environment
• Provide basic first aid when necessary and respond appropriately to emergencies or incidents
• Support children with special education needs or behavioral challenges by applying appropriate teaching strategies
• Will drive the school's mini bus to pick up a small group of children from local elementary schools within the area and drive students on field trips
• Position includes other duties and respondsibilites as required by Leadership.

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in education, childcare, or summer camp is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development, and behavior management techniques is advantageous
• Experience in classroom management, tutoring, or theater activities will be beneficial
• Certification in first aid or CPR is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not already held
• Strong communication skills and the ability to foster positive relationships with children, parents, and team members are essential
