Key Responsibilities
1. Ticketing & Reservations
- Book domestic & international air tickets
- Issue, reissue, and cancel tickets as required
- Handle fare calculations and pricing
- Use GDS systems like Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre
2. Customer Handling
- Assist customers with flight options and best fares
- Provide travel advice (routes, timings, airline policies)
- Handle inquiries via phone, WhatsApp, and email
- Maintain professional customer service at all times
3. Documentation
- Verify passenger details (passport, visa requirements)
- Ensure correct data entry in ticket bookings
- Maintain records of bookings and transactions
4. Problem Solving
- Handle flight changes, delays, cancellations
- Manage refunds and rebooking requests
- Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally
5. Coordination
- Communicate with airlines for special requests or issues
- Coordinate group bookings when required
- Stay updated with airline policies and fare changes
6. Financial Handling
- Prepare quotations and invoices
- Manage ticket pricing and commissions
- Track payments and outstanding balances
Required Skills
- Experience with GDS systems (Amadeus / Galileo / Sabre)
- Strong communication and customer dealing skills
- Good knowledge of airline fares and ticketing rules
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–2 years experience in a travel agency or airline ticketing
- Proficiency in MS Office
