Architect

A leading group in Karachi, Pakistan involved in the construction industry with high-rise buildings and infrastructure projects for more than a decade is seeking a dynamic and experienced Architect with a minimum of 12 to 15 years of experience, preferably specializing in high-rise building design.

Job Description:

• Focus on the planning, designing, and coordinating of architectural drawings, conducting site visits while collaborating with other construction professionals.
• Review all architectural drawings for technical accuracy, design integrity, and compliance.
• Provide corrective measures in case of discrepancies or deviations.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of materials and their application in the construction process, and effectively coordinate with consultants and contractors to ensure smooth execution of the design.
• Provide assistance in coordinating design revisions, updates, and documentation, ensuring that all team members and consultants are aligned throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with Structural, MEP, Interior, and Landscape teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B. Arch) from any reputable university such as Indus Valley School (IVS), NCA Lahore etc.
• Registered with PCATP or equivalent licensing body.
• Minimum 12 to 15 years of architectural design.
• Proven portfolio of completed high-rise, commercial, or industrial projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and visual, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong design and visualization skills.
• Vast working knowledge of SketchUp, Navisworks, AutoCad and Adobe Suite.
• Working knowledge of rendering engines such as Enscape, Lumion and D5.
• Good understanding of building materials, construction techniques, and detailing.
• Knowledge of local authority bylaws and approval procedures.
