Role Overview

The Architect Intern will support the design and execution teams in developing interior layouts, design concepts, and technical drawings for ongoing fit-out projects. The role is ideal for students or recent graduates in Architecture or Interior Design seeking hands-on project experience in the UAE market.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior architects and designers in preparing design proposals and presentations.
• Draft floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D visuals using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit.
• Conduct site measurements and prepare as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and project engineers for material selections and approvals.
• Support the preparation of joinery and detailed shop drawings for interior fit-out execution.
• Research materials, finishes, and design trends suitable for the UAE market.
• Participate in site visits and project coordination meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing) in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and spatial understanding.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of Dubai Municipality and Trakhees guidelines (advantageous).
