About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman to join our design and technical team. The role will focus on producing high-quality 2D and 3D technical drawings for furniture and landscape design projects, supporting large-scale installations from concept through to fabrication and installation.

The successful candidate will play a key role in translating design concepts into accurate, build-ready technical documentation while ensuring compliance with safety, structural, and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD for furniture and landscape design projects.
Develop 3D models and visualisations using SketchUp to clearly communicate design intent to clients and internal stakeholders.
Produce complete drawing packages including plans, elevations, sections, shop drawings and detailed installation drawings.
Ensure all drawings meet structural integrity requirements, safety standards and relevant international guidelines for large-scale installations.
Coordinate closely with designers, engineers and fabrication teams to incorporate design changes and technical requirements.
Maintain organised CAD file management, including clear naming conventions, version control and drawing registers.

Qualifications and Experience

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting) and SketchUp (3D modelling).
Experience with rendering plugins such as V-Ray or Enscape will be an advantage.
Good understanding of precast, fabrication and installation processes.
Ability to interpret design briefs and convert them into precise technical and visual outputs.
Experience in estimation or quantity take-offs will be considered an advantage.
