Architectural Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Architectural/Structural Design Engineer to join our team in delivering high-quality, cost-effective design solutions for modular technical buildings in the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural and structural design, particularly in modular construction, and be capable of coordinating with multiple disciplines to produce clash-free, buildable solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or an equivalent discipline.

Minimum Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in Architectural and Structural design for modular technical buildings in the Oil & Gas sector.

Job-Specific Skills:

• Hands-on experience in the Modular Building industry (Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, etc.).
• Strong understanding of design optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling software is preferred.

Generic Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and team collaboration capabilities.

Knowledge Requirements:

• Solid understanding of both Architectural and Structural engineering principles.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as BS, EN, NFPA, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Propose cost-effective design solutions aligned with client and project requirements.
• Develop and deliver Architectural and Structural drawings (layouts, equipment placement, etc.) as per project timelines.
• Prepare Material Take-Offs (MTOs) based on drawing details.
• Ensure clash-free design by coordinating with other engineering disciplines.
• Incorporate client feedback and revise drawings accordingly.
• Participate in 3D model reviews and ensure coordination across disciplines.
• Support the construction team by explaining design intent and assisting on-site when needed.
• Attend daily/weekly project meetings as required.
• Perform any other responsibilities assigned as per project or departmental needs.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
