Area Sales Manager

Shimoga, India

Qualification - Any degree or diploma
Experience - 4 to 8years
Salary Upto - 25k CTC

Responsibilities :

  • Manage and lead a team of field sales executives across Shivamogga and nearby areas to achieve sales targets.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in schools, companies, and institutions within the region.
  • Plan and implement area-specific sales strategies to drive consistent growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Conduct regular field visits to support the team and assess market opportunities.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate team members to improve performance and achieve goals.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and proper data management of sales activities and pipeline.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, business plans, and performance reviews for the region.
  • Oversee timely payment collections and manage outstanding dues effectively.
  • Represent the company in the region, building brand reputation and client trust.

Skills Needed :

  • Proven experience in sales leadership and team management, preferably in B2B or field sales.
  • Strong ability to guide, mentor, and motivate field teams to achieve results.
  • Excellent strategic planning and decision-making abilities.
  • Highly competitive, target-driven, and focused on achieving business objectives.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets, CRM tools, and handling sales reports and data.
  • Deep understanding of regional market trends, customer needs, and competition.
  • Ability to work independently and take full ownership of area performance.
  • Must have a two-wheeler and valid driving license for frequent field travel.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
