Our client Hamdard Pakistan is looking for a Area Sales Manager in Islamabad.

Hamdard Pakistan is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead and oversee a dynamic sales team responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market presence. The ideal candidate will possess at least seven years of professional experience in sales, specifically within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, and demonstrate expertise in developing and executing effective sales strategies. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills who can manage a team of professionals, foster distributor and retailer relationships, and ensure optimal product availability across designated regions. The Sales Manager will act as a central figure in coordinating sales operations, conducting market and competitor analysis, and guaranteeing that sales targets are consistently met. This position demands an individual with exceptional communication and presentation abilities who can motivate the team, manage performance, and utilize data-driven insights for forecasting and reporting. A bachelor's degree is required for this role, with preference given to candidates holding an MBA or equivalent advanced business qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets effectively.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor area-specific sales strategies in alignment with organizational goals to maximize market coverage.
  • Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with distributors and key retailers to enhance product distribution and visibility.
  • Ensure consistent product availability and optimize shelf placement within retail outlets to improve consumer accessibility and sales volume.
  • Conduct detailed market and competitor analyses to identify trends, emerging opportunities, and potential threats, adjusting sales strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with marketing and supply chain teams to synchronize promotional activities with inventory and demand forecasting.
  • Prepare timely sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews to inform senior management decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Oversee pricing strategies to remain competitive while maintaining profitability and compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor team performance through regular coaching, feedback sessions, and professional development initiatives to build a high-performing sales unit.
  • Drive continuous improvement in sales processes and customer engagement techniques to increase efficiency and effectiveness in field operations.
