Armed Security Officer

Schedule: Overnight | 7:00 PM - 5:00 AM
Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Citadel Security USA is hiring an experienced Armed Patrol Lieutenant Security Officer to lead and supervise overnight mobile patrol operations across multiple districts in the Denver area. This leadership role is responsible for coordinating patrol activity, overseeing officer performance, and ensuring client expectations and company standards are met consistently.

This position is ideal for a security professional with strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage operations in a fast-paced overnight environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage armed patrol officers across multiple assigned districts
• Coordinate nightly patrol coverage, schedules, and assignments
• Ensure patrol routes and rounds are completed according to post orders
• Audit officer activity reports, patrol logs, and documentation for accuracy and compliance
• Address performance issues, provide corrective guidance, and assist with discipline when necessary
• Serve as a point of contact for management and clients during overnight operations
• Respond to incidents, escalations, or operational issues as needed
• Maintain a professional, visible leadership presence while on patrol

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
• Denver Guard Card preferred, or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to legally obtain and carry a firearm while on duty in accordance with state and local laws
• Prior security leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work overnight hours and manage multiple priorities independently
• Must be able to pass all required background checks and licensing requirements in accordance with applicable laws
