Job Title: Asian ChefJob Summary
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Asian Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of Asian cuisines (such as Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Indian, or Pan-Asian), be creative in menu development, and capable of managing kitchen operations while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook authentic Asian dishes including stir-fries, curries, noodles, sushi, dim sum, soups, and other specialty items.
- Create and update menus with innovative and seasonal Asian dishes.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes.
- Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff in Asian cooking techniques.
- Monitor food stock levels and coordinate procurement of fresh ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
- Manage food portioning, presentation, and timely service.
- Control food costs, reduce waste, and maintain inventory efficiently.
- Ensure smooth kitchen operations, especially during peak hours.
Requirements
- Well experienced and skilled candidate with minimum 2 to 3 years of working experience in the same sector.
- Valid QID
- Valid Food Handler Certificate
- Transferrable Visa/Secondment
- Ready to join immediately
Pay: From QAR4,500.00 per month
