Asset Management Engineer / Senior Engineer (PM&D)

In this role, you will play a key role in supporting the digital infrastructure, analytics, and performance optimization of hydro and wind power plants. This role is responsible for structuring operational data, managing digital tools, supporting KPI tracking, and enabling performance-based decision-making. It serves as a link between technical performance data and strategic operational insight, working in close collaboration with operation engineers and digital systems.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and manage digital dashboards to monitor availability, downtime, fault trends, and OPEX indicators.
  • Process and structure SCADA, APM, CMS, and CMMS data to generate actionable insights, predictive analytics, underperformance diagnostics, and improvement strategies.
  • Collaborate with operation engineers to interpret field-level technical data and provide analytical inputs for root cause analysis and maintenance optimization.
  • Support the implementation and optimization of CMMS platforms by structuring digital workflows and reporting functionalities in line with operational requirements.
  • Manage the integration, usability, and lifecycle of digital tools including SCADA, CMS, APM, and remote access systems.
  • Contribute to asset lifecycle planning by interpreting system-generated RUL (Remaining Useful Life) data and supporting long-term upgrade prioritization.
  • Translate operational data into structured formats for budgeting, cost analysis, and generation forecasting purposes in coordination with operation engineers.
  • Assist in budgeting processes by structuring performance-related cost data and ensuring reporting consistency across assets.
  • Develop and maintain analytical tools to support insurance claims, KPI compliance evaluations, and contract-related technical documentation.
  • Participate in centralized maintenance planning by defining task models, evaluating digital tracking capability, and enabling KPI-based follow-up.
  • Research and support the development of new technologies in coordination with operations engineers.
  • Contribute to the improvement of digital platforms such as remote monitoring systems and integrated data architectures, ensuring alignment with asset performance needs.
  • Work closely with field teams to understand system behavior and reflect operational realities in digital systems.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


Education & Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or Industrial Engineering, or other relevant technical disciplines.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in renewable power plant operations, maintenance, or performance management, preferably involving hydroelectric and/or wind power plants.


Technical Skills:


  • Experience with SCADA and data visualization tools (Power BI, Excel); APM, CMS, CMMS familiarity is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Coding and Algorithm Development – demonstrated ability to generate efficient codes and develop algorithms tailored to performance monitoring and data analysis needs. Skilled in evaluating, optimizing, applying and adapting existing algorithms or tools for enhanced system functionality and process improvement.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to translate raw data into meaningful insights and visual narratives.
  • Working knowledge of asset performance KPIs, O&M workflows, and digital system architecture.
  • Proficiency in English , both written and spoken, for technical communication, reporting, and coordination with vendors or system providers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Job Location:


  • This role will require both office work and site visits to wind power plants .
  • Willingness to travel regularly to wind farm sites for technical supervision and field coordination
  • Location: Ankara / Istanbul (Hybrid Work Model)
