Hygiene & Presentation
- Ensure that staff adhere to uniform, grooming, and hygiene standards (including hair, nails, and body odor)
- Maintain store cleanliness, including floors, shelves, and product displays (morning and evening checks)
- Ensure company assets, including the pantry, are well-maintained and in good working condition
Daily Operations
- Ensure the store is fully prepared and operational by 08:00 AM each day
- Oversee cashier setup and ensure availability of receipt rolls
- Maintain accurate records, including DSR, petty cash, and Google Sheets
- Complete all closing tasks, including daily pictures and checklist updates
- Ensure compliance with operation manual and update checklists
Stock & Inventory Management
- Oversee timely ordering of stock and enforce FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory management
- Perform daily quality checks on fresh produce and packed items (e.g., basil, kale, rocket)
- Monitor wastage levels and submit timely expiry reports on the 5th and 20th of each month
- Handle supplier returns and maintain GRRN records
- Track inventory variance and manage wastage performance effectively
Customer Service & Team Training
- Conduct daily team briefings and product training sessions
- Promote customer loyalty programs and the Focus Area of the Week (FAOTW)
- Foster positive customer relationships through excellent service
- Gather and respond to customer feedback (Excellent/Good ratings)
Sales & Performance Management
- Achieve daily sales targets and ensure a consistent increase in transactions (MOM 1.5%) and average basket value (Rs. 25/-)
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as NLC %, LC %, and CAP counts (errors, discounts, etc.)
Administrative & Reporting Duties
- Ensure timely completion and submission of DSR, DCS, and PC files with proper handovers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including signed reports and reconciliation documents
- Organize and update bank discount files with appropriate signatures
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not mandatory
- At least 2 years of experience in retail or store management
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Excel and Google Sheets
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- A customer-focused attitude with a passion for service excellence
- Age must be 45 to 50 years.
