Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Regional General Manager (FMCG) to lead and oversee sales operations, distribution management, business development, and regional performance across Karachi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG sales leadership, channel management, team development, and revenue growth strategies. This role requires a strategic leader capable of driving market expansion, profitability, and operational excellence while managing large sales teams and distributor networks.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Sales & Business Management
- Lead regional FMCG sales operations to achieve revenue and growth targets
- Develop and execute sales strategies, trade marketing plans, and market expansion initiatives
- Manage distributors, wholesalers, and retail channel performance
- Monitor regional KPIs including sales volume, market share, and profitability
- Identify new business opportunities and expansion areas
Operations & Distribution Management
- Oversee distribution network efficiency and supply chain coordination
- Ensure product availability and optimal stock levels across channels
- Improve route-to-market strategy and territory coverage
- Maintain strong relationships with key distributors and modern trade partners
Team Leadership & Performance
- Lead, mentor, and manage regional sales teams, area managers, and supervisors
- Set performance targets and conduct regular performance reviews
- Build a high-performance sales culture aligned with company objectives
Financial & Strategic Planning
- Manage regional budgets, forecasts, and P&L performance
- Analyze sales data and market trends for decision-making
- Implement cost optimization and profitability improvement strategies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Management
- 10–15 years of experience in FMCG Sales or Operations Management
- Proven experience as Regional Manager, General Manager, or Sales Head (FMCG)
- Strong knowledge of distribution management & retail sales operations
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills
