The mission of this local boutique is to establish one safe house, or cottage, for women escaping human trafficking with every store created nationwide. 10% of all My Sister’s Cottage profits are donated to local emergency shelters supporting survivors of human trafficking.

Assistant INVENTORY MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Overseeing and managing the Inventory Associates
• Manages schedules of employees
• Communicates with inventory employees to meet business goals and address personnel issues.
• Contributing to the profitability of the retail operation by receiving, handling, and managing the inventory of merchandise and supplies in a timely and organized manner.
• Setting up and participating in formal periodic inventory audits
• Manages the recruitment and training of new inventory employees.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Evaluates deliveries, shipments and checks for damaged items when they arrive at the store daily.
• Assist with reviewing customer purchase orders and pulling supplies from inventory and preparing them for delivery
• Maintain workspace cleanliness and organization, including any areas where product is stored
• Maintain stored product in a neat and orderly fashion, and work to maximize the effectiveness of the space

Daily Duties included: Receiving inventory utilizing our management system, unboxing incoming inventory and boxing outgoing, ability to lift 10-50lbs, standing upright for long periods of time, reporting damages, and occasionally assisting with additional task.
