Job Title: Assistant Manager –Cement Division
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for the white cement division.
- Identify new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments.
- Expand the dealer/distributor network and ensure regular order flow.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to formulate strategies.
Marketing & Promotion:
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns, product promotions, and branding activities.
- Conduct product demonstrations and participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and dealer meets.
- Liaise with the marketing team for promotional materials and brand visibility.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers, contractors, and architects.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and provide timely solutions.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service delivery.
Operations & Coordination:
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and quality teams for order fulfillment.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely supply to the market.
- Prepare regular sales reports and MIS for management review.
Team Support:
- Guide and support sales executives or field officers in achieving their targets.
- Train team members on product knowledge and sales techniques.
Job Specification
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Civil Engineering.
- MBA / Postgraduate qualification in Sales or Marketing preferred.
Experience:
- 4 to 7 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in cement / construction materials / building products industry.
- Experience in white cement, wall putty, or related product categories is an advantage.
