Job Title: Assistant Manager –Cement Division

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for the white cement division.
  • Identify new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments.
  • Expand the dealer/distributor network and ensure regular order flow.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to formulate strategies.

Marketing & Promotion:

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns, product promotions, and branding activities.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and dealer meets.
  • Liaise with the marketing team for promotional materials and brand visibility.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers, contractors, and architects.
  • Handle customer queries, complaints, and provide timely solutions.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service delivery.

Operations & Coordination:

  • Coordinate with production, logistics, and quality teams for order fulfillment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely supply to the market.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and MIS for management review.

Team Support:

  • Guide and support sales executives or field officers in achieving their targets.
  • Train team members on product knowledge and sales techniques.

Job Specification

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Civil Engineering.
  • MBA / Postgraduate qualification in Sales or Marketing preferred.

Experience:

  • 4 to 7 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in cement / construction materials / building products industry.
  • Experience in white cement, wall putty, or related product categories is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Ability to handle multiple regions or dealer networks.
  • Team leadership and coordination skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Thrissur, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
