Assistant Manager Accounting

The Assistant Manager – Accounting & Advisory will oversee client engagements, manage a team of consultants, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of accounting, compliance, and advisory services. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage client accounting and advisory engagements for multiple industries.
  • Supervise and guide a team of accountants and consultants, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Review financial statements, management reports, and ensure compliance with UAE VAT and other regulations.
  • Support clients with advisory services, including financial planning, cash flow management, and process improvement.
  • Collaborate with the technology team for accounting software implementation (Zoho Books, Zoho Finance Suite, etc.).
  • Ensure client satisfaction through timely communication, high-quality deliverables, and proactive problem-solving.
  • Assist the Department Manager in planning, team management, and quality control.
  • Train and mentor junior staff to build technical and soft skills.

Requirements

  • Qualification: CA
  • Experience: 5–8 years of relevant experience in Accounting & Advisory
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in client management and team leadership.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Zoho preferred) and MS Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
