ASSISTANT MANAGER AM - HEALTH & LIFE

Karachi, Pakistan

POSITION: AM Health & life (insurance sector)

QUALIFICATION : Minimum Bachelors with 2 to 3 years of experience (preferably insurance sector)

Experience : Research & Development within the Life & Health Sector in Pakistan

(Selling Health & Life Insurance in Pakistan)

SALARY : MARKET COMPETITIVE

Working days : Monday - Friday (5 DAYS) , Saturdays will be on during busy renewal period (May & June) (November & December)

Timings:

  • MON - FRI (9:00 - 5:30)

SKILLS :

  • Are Meticulous and Detail Oriented & have Good Presentation Skills
  • Have Excellent Time Management and Interpersonal Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Have Fluency in English Language

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supporting the growth via new or expanded business of Health & Life in Pakistan through the provision of technical advisory and/or consulting services.
  • Work with country management and service teams to deliver the widest practical range of Health & Life insurance solutions and services, facilitate new product development activities, and maximize all opportunities.
  • Supporting the development of promotional materials (e.g., flyers, brochures, credentials/capability reports); manages and/or supports research and development (including but not limited to Claims, operational processes, project development sourcing) in respect of “Risk” and/or Infrastructure issue relevant to the job.
  • Servicing of assigned accounts, regular meetings with clients and participation in other areas of business as may be agreed from time to time.
  • Project Management of RFP and/or Insurance Broker
  • Tenders including report writing, presentations and
  • other similar material (e.g. Insurance manuals,
  • stewardship reports, renewal reports etc.)
  • Liaison with insurers on day-to-day basis and manage relationships with them to capture accurate and timely data for the benefit of team and clients while fully complying with SIB policies and guidelines.
  • Keep track of clients’ activity on a day-to-day basis and follow up with providers/ insurers to ensure timely issuance of necessary documentation.
  • Other assignments as directed by the manager.
