Job Purpose:

• This role will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of data center facilities, ensuring all systems operate at optimal performance and comply with defined performance standards. Additionally, he will support and guide the regional facility management team, enabling them to effectively manage day-to-day data center operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets to streamline and optimize data center operations.
• Initiate and renew service support agreements for critical power infrastructure, ensuring availability of OEM Level-2 support.
• Develop business cases through to contracting for phased-out power and environmental systems to maintain data center stability.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis of major outages and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
• Perform quarterly self-inspections of data centers in line with CMCC guidelines, including risk assessments and implementation of mitigation plans to ensure safe operations.
• Ensure effective inventory management by optimizing utilization of available stock and forecasting future requirements based on installed base, consumption trends, and fault rates.
• Identify and implement innovative solutions to reduce operational costs and maximize infrastructure utilization.
• Lead and support audit activities to ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Maintain and enhance the knowledge base (policies and procedures) while driving automation to improve operational efficiency and project delivery.
• Stay aligned with emerging technologies, ensuring data center infrastructure evolves to support advancements while balancing cost, performance, and reliability.
• Take ownership of OPEX and CAPEX planning and governance, ensuring efficient cost utilization alongside infrastructure expansion and modernization.

Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills):

Education:

• Minimum Bachelors of Engineering is required. Master’s degree will be preferred.
• Any of Data Center Certifications such as ATD, CTDC, CDCE, CDFOM ,CDCS is plus.

Work Experience:

• Minimum 3 Years of experience in managing Data Center & Operations in a lead role.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and respond effectively to critical incidents.
• Strong communication skills to interact with internal teams, senior management, and external vendors.

Skills – Job Specific:

• Well versed with ANSI TIA 942, ASHRAE guidelines, Operational philosophy of Critical Data Centre Facilities.
