MEP Supervisor (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing)
Job Summary:
The MEP Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in buildings. The role ensures all MEP works are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with project specifications, standards, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:1. Supervision & Execution
- Supervise day-to-day MEP activities at site or facility.
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, technicians, and subcontractors.
- Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of tasks.
2. Maintenance & Operations
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of MEP systems.
- Ensure smooth functioning of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire fighting systems, and elevators.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure quick resolution.
3. Quality Control
- Ensure all installations meet quality standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct inspections and testing of MEP systems.
- Verify materials and workmanship as per project requirements.
4. Health & Safety Compliance
- Enforce safety policies and procedures on site.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safe working practices.
- Coordinate with HSE team for compliance and audits.
5. Coordination
- Liaise with project managers, consultants, and clients.
- Coordinate MEP works with civil and architectural teams.
- Attend meetings and provide updates on project status.
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain daily work reports and logs.
- Track material usage and manpower deployment.
- Assist in preparing reports, schedules, and handover documents.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in MEP works (construction or facility management).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems.
Skills & Competencies:
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in commercial buildings, malls, or high-rise projects.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems (for facility management roles).
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, AutoCAD is a plus).
Work Environment:
- Site-based or facility-based role.
- May require shift work in facility management operations.
Pay: From Rs60,000.00 per month
