Human Capital HR Solutions is hiring on behalf of one of its prestigious clients for the position of Assistant Manager – Data Center. We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled professional to oversee critical data center infrastructure, ensure operational excellence, and maintain high availability of data center facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in infrastructure management, preventive maintenance, vendor coordination, and compliance with international data center standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain critical data center infrastructure, including power systems, cooling systems, UPS, generators, HVAC, and fire safety systems.

Ensure maximum uptime and availability of all data center facilities.

Plan, execute, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Lead incident management activities and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for operational issues.

Coordinate with vendors and ensure compliance with service contracts and SLAs.

Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for data center operations.

Support infrastructure upgrades, expansion projects, and capacity planning initiatives.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, including TIA-942, Uptime Institute, and ISO guidelines.

Monitor operational performance and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.

Lead and mentor the data center operations team while ensuring adherence to operational best practices.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and communicate effectively with local and international clients.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related discipline.

CDCP (Certified Data Centre Professional) certification is preferred.

Minimum 7–8 years of experience in managing critical data center operations.

Strong technical knowledge of UPS systems, generators, HVAC systems, and power infrastructure.

Sound understanding of data center standards, including TIA-942, Uptime Institute, and ISO.

Experience in incident management, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and infrastructure lifecycle management.

Proven expertise in vendor management and service contract administration.

Basic knowledge of networking and Layer-1 (L1) support.

Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to interact professionally with both domestic and international clients.
