Job Summary:

ZONERGY is hiring an Assistant Manager Technical Design, responsible for the technical foundation of our solar initiatives. This role involves conducting high-precision site assessments, identifying top-tier solar components through rigorous market evaluation, and ensuring that all project proposals are technically compliant and optimized for performance. You will act as the technical link between field realities and office-based design and bidding.

Responsibilities:

• Pre-Project Technical Assessments: Conduct comprehensive on-site surveys for commercial and industrial (C&I) solar PV projects, assessing structural integrity, electrical infrastructure, and shading profiles.
• Engineering Reporting: Translate site data into professional, high-accuracy Technical Site Survey Reports (TSSR) that serve as the blueprint for design and procurement teams.
• Strategic Sourcing & Product Hunting: Research and evaluate global and local trends in PV modules, inverters, and Balance of System (BOS) components to ensure Zonergy utilizes the most efficient and cost-effective technology.
• Tender Technical Compliance: Scrutinize complex tender documents to extract technical requirements and develop detailed compliance matrices, ensuring 100% technical qualification in bid submissions.
• Supply Chain & Distributor Liaison: Technical vetting of vendors and distributors; maintain a database of technical datasheets and warranty terms for all procured components.
• Design & Documentation Support: Assist the design team in creating preliminary layouts and production estimates using industry-standard software to support the sales and bidding process.

Key Requirements:

• Technical Documentation: Exceptional ability to draft detailed technical reports and compliance checklists with high attention to detail.
• Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Pakistani solar market, including the technical specs of Tier-1 modules, string vs. central inverters, and ESS solutions.
• Engineering Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD (for layouts) and Helioscope or PVSyst (for energy yield simulations).
• Vendor Management: Strong interpersonal skills to negotiate technical specifications with suppliers and distributors.
• Analytical Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams (SLDs), structural drawings, and complex tender clauses.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2-4 years of experience in solar project engineering, site surveying, or technical design drafting

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per month
