Responsibilities

No. Key Accountabilities

1 The screw filling line foreman is responsible for maintaining occupational safety at the workplace, he is responsible for complying with prescribed fire prevention and hygiene rules.

2 Is responsible for monitoring compliance with prescribed work procedure and instruction.

3 The foreman is responsible to provide periodic briefing on observation of accident, prevention regulations and technological procedure once a month, foreman keeps a record of briefings from above mentioned procedures.

4 Provides training to newly hired employees, keeps record of training, keeps a record of briefings from above mentioned procedures.

5 Coordinates and supervises maintenance work, if necessary, ensure the supply of parts needed for replacement.

6 Issues a permit in the event of repairs to equipment or a building, supervises the removal of all explosives from workplace during such activities.

7 Train and communicate to all employees about location of fire extinguishers as well as fire alarms

8 The key focus areas are production management, quality control supervision, team management, supervision of work safety.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification: Must:

  • BE / Diploma in Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering Desirable:
  • Familiarity with quality control standards and methodologies, including statistical process control (SPC).
  • Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and best practices, including HAZOP analysis.

Relevant Experience

Must:

  • BE - Minimum of 12 years related experience
  • Deep understanding of large Caliber ammunition manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials. Desirable:
  • Ability to motivate, guide, and develop a team of production personnel.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage production activities effectively.
  • A thorough understanding of the properties, handling, and safety procedures related to explosives and ammunition.
  • Familiarity with relevant software, such as manufacturing execution systems (MES) and ERP systems.
