GENERAL PURPOSE
To support the financial management by ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, effective expense control, compliance with statutory and organizational policies, and provision of reliable financial reports to facilitate informed decision-making. The Assistant Manager Finance plays a key role in maintaining transparency, supporting audits, and strengthening the overall financial operations of the organization.
Job Responsibilities and Authorities:
- Manage Accounts Payable: Ensure timely processing of vendor invoices after proper verification.
- Expense Management: Oversee accurate recording and disbursement of all expenses (utilities, per diem, petty cash) in compliance with internal controls.
- Bank Reconciliation: Review and perform monthly bank reconciliations; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and maintain fund utilization and financial tracking reports by budget heads (materials, equipment, etc.) to support management decision-making.
- Audit Support: Facilitate internal and external audits by preparing reconciliations, schedules, and promptly responding to audit queries.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare income tax workings and ensure compliance with applicable statutory requirements including SRB filings.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain organized financial records and donor-specific documentation to ensure accountability and audit readiness.
- Team Supervision: Mentor junior finance staff, promote professional development, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and streamline financial workflows.

- Skilled in overseeing end-to-end AP/AR processes including invoice processing, aging analysis, and vendor/customer reconciliations.
- Practical understanding of income tax, sales tax, and withholding tax laws with experience in preparing tax returns and working papers (e.g., SRB, FBR).

- Supports effective decision-making by providing timely, accurate analysis and well-reasoned recommendations, especially under pressure.

Qualification: BBA/MBA/ACCA,CA or ICMA (Part Qualified)
