EFU Life Assurance Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Manager - Accounts with at least three years of relevant experience to support the finance department in maintaining accurate fund records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate is skilled in financial reporting, audit coordination, and fund accounting, with strong problem-solving abilities and a high level of accuracy in financial data management. This position plays a crucial role in preparing timely and precise Net Asset Value (NAV) reports and assists in both internal and external audits. Effective handling of pressure and strong relationship management skills are essential to succeed in this role. The Assistant Manager - Accounts will work closely with various stakeholders to uphold financial integrity and transparency. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to present clear financial reports. While this role does not include managing a team, it requires excellent collaboration and communication skills to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth financial operations within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date fund records to support financial analysis and reporting.
  • Prepare and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of Net Asset Value (NAV) reports in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors by providing necessary documentation and supporting audit processes effectively.
  • Adhere strictly to accounting standards and internal controls to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.
  • Assist in the preparation of clear and detailed financial reports for management and regulatory bodies.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in financial data through strong problem-solving skills.
  • Manage work efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with internal departments and external parties involved in financial operations.
