Assistant Manager -Growth Marketing

Mandate 1– Employees will come to the office thrice a week at their base location and work remotely for the remaining days.

The Growth Marketing team at Swiggy is a dynamic, cross-functional group of professionals dedicated to accelerating the company’s growth across all verticals. As a Growth Marketing Assistant Manager, you will leverage Owned Media to drive substantial traffic, enhance user acquisition, and reactivate existing users. You will work closely with Product, Business, Analytics, Brand, and Content teams to deliver impactful marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • To drive growth and user engagement, lead and optimize the Traffic framework for Owned Media, including Push Notifications, WhatsApp, and Email.
  • Develop and implement strategies that align with consumer preferences and business goals, enhancing user experience across multiple communication channels.
  • Work closely with Product, Business, Analytics, Design, and Content teams to ensure alignment and success in marketing initiatives.
  • Create and manage Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly plans, reports and review performance to drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute A/B experiments to optimize communication strategies and improve conversion rates.
  • Scale automated journeys that enhance user interactions and drive conversions throughout the user funnel.
  • Craft user journeys and work on improving customer funnels across touchpoints for all the Business units.
  • Design and implement strategies to enhance user lifecycle stages, from onboarding to retention, ensuring a seamless user journey.
  • Develop and execute personalization strategies to deliver tailored content and offers, enhancing user experience and increasing engagement.
  • Conduct regular competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and incorporate best practices into marketing strategies.
  • Exceptional knowledge of CRM tools like Clevertap, MoEngage, etc..
  • Last but not least, and must have, knowledge of Snowflake (knowledge of Sql) and excellent command on Excel.

Desired Skills And Qualifications

  • A proven track record in growth roles within e-commerce or consumer tech companies, focusing on driving traffic and user engagement.
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience with SQL and data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional project management abilities, with a knack for executing complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • 3+ years in growth marketing or a related role within a B2C consumer tech or e-commerce platform.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for measuring and optimizing performance metrics.
  • A deep understanding of consumer behavior and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Proactiveness and positive attitude towards taking up challenges.
