Job Title: Assistant Manager - HR
Location: Hingna MIDC
Reporting To: HR Manager / General Manager
Job Purpose:
To manage and oversee the human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, training, compliance, and payroll, ensuring alignment with the company’s operational goals and objectives in the fabrication industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract skilled talent, including welders, fabricators, supervisors, and other technical roles.
- Conduct interviews, manage onboarding, and ensure a smooth hiring process.
- Build and maintain a database of potential candidates to meet future needs.
2. Employee Relations
- Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns and grievances effectively.
- Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolutions to maintain productivity and morale.
- Implement employee engagement initiatives to boost satisfaction and retention.
3. Training & Development
- Identify skill gaps and plan technical and soft skills training for employees, especially production and fabrication teams.
- Organize safety and compliance training sessions specific to the fabrication industry.
- Evaluate training outcomes and adjust programs as needed.
4. HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Manage timekeeping systems, attendance tracking, and leave policies.
- Assist in payroll processing and manage employee benefits programs.
- Maintain employee records in accordance with statutory requirements.
5. Performance Management
- Assist in implementing performance appraisal systems and conduct performance reviews.
- Provide feedback and support managers in addressing performance-related issues.
- Recognize and reward high-performing employees to encourage excellence.
6. Health, Safety, and Welfare
- Collaborate with the safety team to ensure adherence to workplace safety standards.
- Promote health and wellness programs to ensure a productive workforce.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of HR processes and labor laws specific to the manufacturing/fabrication sector.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in HR software and tools for payroll, attendance, and recruitment.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in the manufacturing/fabrication industry.
- Knowledge of technical roles (welders, fabricators) is an advantage.
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM, PHR) is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
