Assistant Manager - HR

.Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Manager with 5+ years of hands-on experience in managing end-to-end HR operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving HR strategies, ensuring compliance, strengthening employee engagement, and supporting business goals through effective people management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic & Operational HR:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Oversee end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, performance management, and exits
  • Act as a strategic partner to leadership on workforce planning and organizational development

2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Management:

  • Lead recruitment planning and ensure timely closure of open positions
  • Design and improve onboarding processes to enhance employee experience
  • Monitor manpower planning and optimize resource utilization

3. Performance Management, Employee Engagement & L&D

  • Manage appraisal cycles and performance reviews.
  • Drive employee engagement, feedback mechanisms, and retention initiatives.
  • Identify learning needs and conduct regular training for employees.
  • Conduct regular 1-on-1 meetings, feedback sessions, and employee surveys.

4. Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Handle employee grievances with fairness and confidentiality
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory regulations, and company policies
  • Manage HR documentation, policies, and audits
  • Compensation & HR Analytics
  • Support salary reviews, increments, and promotions
  • Analyze HR metrics such as attrition, hiring efficiency, and engagement scores
  • Prepare HR reports and dashboards for management review

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in core HR roles
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
  • Experience handling end-to-end HR operations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in HRMS, MS Office, and reporting tools

Reporting to:

COO

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
