Assistant Manager - Import planning

The Assistant Manager – Import Planning will be responsible for managing and optimizing all import-related activities to ensure smooth and cost-effective operations. The role involves planning, coordinating with suppliers and logistics partners, and monitoring import documentation and clearance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Manager in daily import planning, scheduling, and execution.
  • Monitor shipment status, coordinate with freight forwarders, and manage customs documentation.
  • Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Analyze consumption patterns and inventory data to develop accurate import forecasts.
  • Resolve issues related to shipment delays, quantity discrepancies, or quality non-compliance.
  • Support cost optimization initiatives related to freight, duties, and warehouse storage.
  • Prepare import reports and maintain up-to-date records for audits and compliance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs100,000.00 per month
