Assistant Manager Packaging Planning

We are seeking a proactive and technically sound Assistant Manager Packaging Planning to oversee and improve packaging processes, materials, and vendor coordination. The role focuses on enhancing packaging quality, efficiency, and innovation while ensuring compliance with labeling and printing standards.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or in a relevant field.

Experience: 2–3 years of relevant experience in printing, packaging manufacturing, preferably in FMCG, pharmaceutical or manufacturing industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and improve existing packaging materials by applying knowledge of packaging technologies, materials, and industry trends
  • Identify packaging flaws and implement corrective actions to enhance product quality
  • Oversee printing processes related to packaging, ensuring accuracy, quality, and cost effectiveness
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on packaging innovations and emerging trends
  • Identify, evaluate, and coordinate with vendors for packaging materials and services.
  • Support procurement and costing activities related to packaging operations
  • Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and marketing teams to optimize packaging solutions
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of packaging materials, labelling, and printing processes
  • Experience in vendor sourcing and coordination
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and packaging-related documentation
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
