Assistant Manager – Payroll & Finance

Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager – Payroll & Finance will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing for outsourced staff, ensuring accurate invoicing to clients, maintaining financial records, and monitoring budgets against client-issued POs. The role requires strong attention to detail, financial acumen, and the ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process monthly payroll for outsourced staff accurately and within deadlines
  • Prepare and submit client invoices based on payroll and contractual agreements
  • Maintain and update records of accounts payable and receivable
  • Ensure all payments are processed within approved budgets and financial limits
  • Review and verify client Purchase Orders (POs) against agreed budgets and terms
  • Monitor financial transactions and highlight any discrepancies or variances
  • Coordinate with HR and operations teams for payroll inputs and staff data
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes
  • Assist in financial reporting and reconciliation activities

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or related field (B.Com / M.Com / BBA Finance / MBA Finance)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in payroll and finance operations
  • Strong understanding of payroll processing, invoicing, and financial record-keeping
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial systems
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and coordination skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in managing outsourced staff payroll
  • Familiarity with budgeting and PO verification processes
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks

Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs100,000.00 per month
