Assistant Manager Sales ( Lights & Switch Sockets)

Hiring: Assistant Manager Sales – Lights & Switch Sockets

We’re looking for someone who understands lighting and switch sockets products AND project-based sales — not just targets.

This role involves working with consultants, contractors, and distributors to drive lighting solutions across commercial and industrial projects.

What you’ll do

Sales & Business Development

  • Support the senior management in driving lighting & switch sockets sales across assigned territories
  • Identify and pursue project-based opportunities in commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors
  • Engage with consultants, contractors, distributors, and OEMs to promote lighting solutions
  • Assist in achieving quarterly/annual sales targets

Channel & Client Engagement

  • Develop relationships with retail partners, distributors, and contractors
  • Support business development across retail, project, and OEM channels
  • Maintain strong coordination with consultants, architects, and MEP consultants
  • Assist in expanding market coverage within the assigned territory

Technical Sales Support

  • Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and customer meetings
  • Assist clients with product selection and application guidance
  • Support preparation of BOQs, quotations, and technical submittals
  • Provide technical assistance during project bidding and proposal preparation

Project Coordination

Support coordination between customers, channel partners, and internal teams

  • Assist in ensuring timely order processing and project execution
  • Participate in site visits, lighting mock-ups, and client consultations

Market Intelligence

Monitor market trends, competitor products, and pricing dynamics

  • Support preparation of sales pipeline reports and forecasting updates

Skills

Technical Skills

  • Basic understanding of LED lighting technologies and applications
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and BOQs
  • Knowledge of lighting systems for commercial and industrial applications

Sales & Business Skills

  • Technical solution selling

Industry Knowledge

  • Understanding of lighting project cycles and specification sales
