Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager – Pharmacy supports the overall management and smooth functioning of hospital pharmacy operations. This role ensures compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and quality procedures while maintaining adequate stock levels, supervising pharmacy staff, and ensuring safe and effective dispensing of medications to patients.

Job Description:

  • Supervise daily pharmacy operations and ensure accurate dispensing of medicines.
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and DRAP regulations.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and manage expiry records.
  • Lead, train, and monitor pharmacy staff performance.
  • Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other departments for efficient service delivery.
  • Maintain patient safety and service quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Education: Pharm-D from an HEC-recognized institution.
  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in hospital or retail pharmacy, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
  • License: Valid registration with the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan.
  • Skills: Leadership, communication, attention to detail, and knowledge of HIS/pharmacy systems.
