About the Role
The Assistant Manager – Planning & Procurement will own end-to-end supply planning and procurement operations across multiple international markets, including Australia, Canada, the UK, Dubai, and Europe. This role is responsible for ensuring optimal inventory availability, effective supplier coordination, and disciplined procurement execution to support consistent product availability and operational efficiency. Working cross-functionally with operations, logistics, and finance teams, the role drives planning accuracy, cost control, and supply continuity to enable scalable business growth.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee demand and supply planning across international markets, maintaining rolling forecasts and ensuring optimal inventory levels while minimizing stockouts and excess.
  • Execute procurement strategies aligned with demand plans, sourcing products from global suppliers efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Negotiate pricing, lead times, and contractual terms with suppliers to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, monitor performance, and proactively resolve issues to ensure uninterrupted supply.
  • Manage purchase orders end-to-end, ensuring accuracy of quantities, pricing, delivery timelines, and proper documentation.
  • Coordinate closely with Finance to process supplier payments, track invoices, and ensure alignment between procurement and financial records.
  • Track and report key performance metrics, including forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, service levels, and supplier performance.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in supply planning and procurement operations.
  • Proven experience managing international suppliers and multi-region supply chains.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities for operational decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP or supply chain management systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and meet deadlines.
